You can easily add Links to the Apple AppStore with using [app ##idnumber##] in your posts, pages or comments. The ID number is the number from the official AppStore URL.

There are a variety of tag cloud plugins, many of them just tweaks of the basic WordPress tag cloud code. This plugin is no different.

Well, it is different in that it provides one new way to display the tags: cloudily.

The usual format is for tags with a smaller post count to have a smaller font size and larger counts a larger font size. Cloudy Tags still allows that, but it adds the property of cloudiness. So tags with smaller post counts are cloudier and larger counts are clearer or sharper.

The Looser Search Plugin modifies the way the built-in WordPress search finds posts and pages. It counts matches on key words rather than forcing an exact match of all words. It will almost always get a match on something and shows best matches first. Common English words are eliminated from the search to prevent too many inappropriate matches. It is better that a user see too many hits than none at all. Note: This is looser search, as in loose or less constrained, not loser search. Bad choice of name, but it works well. There are no complicated configuration options. Just install activate and forget.

The Recent Google Searches Widget collects the query string from Google, Bing and Yahoo. It lists the last 5 as a sidebar widget so that users might click on them and find information using the WordPress search. In this way a user might find more pages that satisfy his search and other users may be interested in the same things that previous searchers used as queries. It is quite possible that the Search engine query will result in a not found because the WordPress built-in search is not very flexible, so I have written a loose search plugin that I am going to submit to the plugin repository.

A stylized Twitter widget. I created this plugin because I wanted a better looking widget on my personal blog. It's not as complex as some other plugins, but it serves its purpose. The widget will adjust itself to the width of the sidebar automatically. It does use some CSS3 for rounded corners and transitioning, but it will look completely fine on other browsers. It also auto updates the Twitter feed for a specified amount of time which can be changed in the settings page.
